Role Scope

Lead Engineer role is part of the Platform Services team within Salesforce's Digital Marketing Technology group, responsible for the innovation of our Salesforce digital experiences globally, leveraging best-in-class technology and systems. This role encompasses defining and overseeing architecture, design, implementation, and testing strategies, ensuring technical excellence, long-term scalability, and high-quality product delivery across the digital experience. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers to build the breakthrough features our customers will love and adopt while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable.

The successful candidate will have :

Deep and proven experience in the marketing technologies domain, with a strong focus on experimentation domain or B2C Identity Domain and a track record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems.

• Identity Domain : Experience in Consumer / B2C identity package implementations, preferably Okta / Auth0 and Identity protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect etc.
• Experimentation Domain : Experience in building solutions for experimentation for A / B testing, Multi-variate testing etc.
• Expertise in building AI-based computing architectures and scalable stacks.

For New York‑based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $167,300 to $230,000. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $184,000 to $253,000. For California-based roles, the range is $200,800 to $276,100. For Illinois-based roles, the range is $184,000 to $253,000.
