The Gastroenterology Physician position is at a multi-specialty, physician-owned outpatient facility located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This role involves working with a team of 46 doctors and 34 allied health professionals, focusing on procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs, within a collaborative practice environment. Type of practice :
o Multi-specialty (23 different specialties), outpatient, physician owned facility. Our main campus is in Fort Walton Beach and we also have satellite offices in Destin, Niceville, Navarre, and Crestview.
- Type of employment :
o First 2 years, associate contract position. Immediately following the 2-year Associate contract, there is the option to be voted in as a Shareholder.
o 46 doctors, 34 Allied Health Professionals (PA or ARNP)
o Gastroenterology Department : 2 doctors, 1 Allied Health Professional
o US Resident or Green Card
o Board Certified or Board Eligible (will be required to take the test after completing residency / fellowship)
o As an associate, the contract includes a base salary with a wRVU production model, which is based on a specific dollar amount per work RVU produced.
o Competitive salary according to AMGA with bonuses based on quality and performance

o Paid time off :
20 business days of PTO, Clinic closed 6 holidays, 5 CME Days, Total per year : 31 days / year
o Monday Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
o Colonoscopy
o EGD
o Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
o PEG Tubes

o No patients under 18 years old
o Do not perform hemorrhoid surgery
o ERCP
o EUS
o No Gastric Bypass
o No Capsule Endoscopies
o Will evaluate gallbladder, but will not remove

o We are a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) NCQA certified practice
o In practice for over 70 years, strong presence in the community as the area s largest physician owned, multi-specialty, outpatient clinic
o All of our locations are within 10-20 miles from our main campus in Fort Walton Beach.
o Onsite imaging and laboratory
o Mid-sized community, large military population, popular vacation destination with beautiful beaches and a coastal lifestyle
o Located within a short road trip away from many southeast metropolitan areas. New Orleans 4 hours, Mobile 1.5 hours, Nashville 6.5 hours, Atlanta 5 hours, Orlando and Tampa 6 hours. We also have an international airport in Pensacola.
