Position Overview :

We are seeking an exceptional Ordering Specialist to support transformative projects at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Ordering Specialist will work with FAA programs and the prime vendor to place and track service orders accurately.
Key Responsibilities Include :
- Coordinate network service order requests with engineering, finance, and contracts teams
- Work with systems engineers to create cost estimates and coordinate with finance team to ensure availability of funding and timely placement of funds on the contract
- Collaborate with customers and the on-ramping team to create ordering packages and process all orders
- Work collaboratively with the contracts team to develop all necessary contractual documents
- Work with prime network vendor ordering service to ensure accuracy of request and assist in any revisions and negotiations between the FAA and the prime vendor
- Create and maintain ordering tracking sheets and prepare briefings when needed to bring status updates to all stakeholders
Key Requirements :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution5+ years of relevant experience , and proven work experience placing or coordinating complex contract or service orders in information technology fieldExtensive federal acquisition experienceStrong data analysis, program evaluation and management, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and meet deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPointExcellent oral and written communication skillsDesired Experience :
