Responsibilities
As a Medical Pod Leader , you will be the clinical leader responsible for the performance of your clinical pod team. Your role will encompass :
Accurate diagnosis and documentationEnhancing patient experience and safetyFostering team dynamics and provider productivityBuilding strong relationships with all clinical team membersCollaborating with advanced practice providers (APPs) as their supervising physicianEssential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and collaborate with assigned APPs and physicians, ensuring compliance with state regulations.Participate in ride-alongs with APPs to enhance collaboration.Lead high-risk huddles and ensure comprehensive care plans are documented.Conduct chart audits and provide guidance on patient care questions.Review quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.Assist with patient care for complex cases and lead clinical education initiatives.Manage performance reviews and disciplinary actions for direct reports.Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director to enhance care quality.In this role, you may work with...
