Job Title : Optical Assembly Technician

Location : Marlborough, MA

Employment Type : Full-Time

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay Range : $25.00 – $27.00 per hour

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Optical Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling and aligning free-space optical components and performing system integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and align free-space optical components including lenses, mirrors, and other optical elements
• Perform optical system integration and troubleshooting to ensure all components meet specifications
• Use precision tools such as microscopes and optical mounts to assemble and test laser heads
• Conduct functional and performance tests on finished assemblies
• Document assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues and improve procedures
• Follow company safety and quality control standards
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance; overtime may be required
