Job Title : Business Process Engineer

Location : St. Petersburg, FL

Position Type : Direct Hire (Full-Time, Permanent)

Reports To : Supply Chain Process Manager / Director of IT Programs

About the Role

We are building a new Business Process Improvement (BPI) team to support the growth and scaling of our manufacturing division. The Business Process Engineer will play a critical role in designing, improving, and standardizing processes to drive operational excellence. This role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in ambiguity and can influence change across teams and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement new processes, tools, and supporting documentation for business initiatives.
  • Redesign and monitor processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Use visuals and process modeling to communicate improvements in a clear, accessible way.
  • Partner with stakeholders to build consensus and drive adoption of process changes.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support development and adoption of new technologies to automate and streamline workflows.
  • Ensure improvement projects align with corporate strategy and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience driving corporate process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gain leadership buy-in.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in an evolving environment with limited structure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Nice-to-Haves :

  • Experience in manufacturing and logistics.
  • Certifications such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, PMP, or SAFe.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across all levels of the organization.
