Responsibilities
- Through a team of line supervisors, organize daily workload for all production personnel.
- Supervise and assist in the selection and training of new personnel.
- Develop process documentation consistent with company policies.
- Determine workstation allocation / usage, support new workstation implementations, manage overtime or extra shifts as required, and determine the sequence of production work.
- Monitor the production processes and coordinate with the Master Scheduler to adjust schedules as needed.
- Aid in the monitoring and scheduling of maintenance to equipment.
- Implement Lean Six-Sigma methodologies and programs.
- Monitor the efficiency and quality of all production jobs.
- Assist in troubleshooting production jobs.
- Manage employee conduct or performance in a manner consistent with Company policies.
- Establish and control departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Support, maintain and encourage Resonetics quality policies.
- Work with Quality to design, implement, and monitor quality awareness and improvement programs.
- Ensure that the Company's environmental, health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Conduct performance appraisals and communication.
- Monitor timesheets for production personnel.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years in a similar role.5+ years in a manufacturing managerial role.Demonstrated experience with FDA / GMP or ISO 13485 requirements.Preferred Qualifications
College degree in industrial engineering, management, industrial technology, business administration or equivalent. Experience in laser workstations setup and operation.Lean Six-Sigma green belt.Physical Demands
Ability to work long hours when necessary and to have a hands-on presence with a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation.Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $90,000 - $125,000.
