Iowa Licensed Claims Representative

A company is looking for a Claims Representative to handle various aspects of claims processing remotely in Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze coverage and ensure losses are covered by client policy

Initiate contact with clients and claimants within 24 hours and take statements regarding claims

Negotiate settlement amounts and prepare claims summary reports for clients

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience

One year of claims handling or insurance experience or related experience

Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of claims handling or insurance experience

AIC, INS or other insurance-related certifications preferred

Basic knowledge of the claims adjusting process and insurance contracts
