Position : RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit (Travel / Contract)
We're hiring experienced RN-PCU-Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas — earn up to ($1670 - $1757 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions to ensure optimal recovery.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational targets.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Manage and prioritize multiple patient care tasks effectively.
Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Experience / Qualifications
Current RN license in Texas with PCU experience preferred.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning opportunities.
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar healthcare setting.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ability to manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently under pressure.
Strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
Proficient in documenting patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
Willingness to engage in performance evaluations and implement feedback.
Strong communication skills to educate patients and families effectively.
Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.
