Hardware Support Engineer

A company is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer - Field Device Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot a fleet of field devices including cameras and POS transaction relays

Manage installations of embedded systems and device networking while implementing automated monitoring

Support new location installations and optimize device performance through analysis and standardized configurations

Required Qualifications

3+ years of POSIX / Linux systems administration experience

Experience with firmware management for embedded devices or IoT hardware

Network troubleshooting skills including TCP / IP and firewall configuration

Command-line proficiency with bash / shell scripting

Knowledge of POS integration and experience with embedded Linux systems
