An aerospace client is looking for an Electronic Technician who will set up, assemble, and test complete flight harnesses, assemblies, and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.

Location : Redondo Beach, CA 90278 (Onsite)

Position : Electronic Technician

Pay Rate : $25.38 / hr. - $31.18 / hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration : 24 months or longer

Schedule : 9x80 A

Shift : 1st Shift

  • Must be flexible and able to support weekend work when necessary.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up, assemble, and test complete flight harnesses and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks.
  • Analyze data and recommend modifications to components or test procedures to meet desired specifications.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Basic Qualifications :

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronic Technician.
  • Experience working with engineering drawings and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of DC harness wiring with various connectors including D-Sub, Micro-D, and Circular connectors.
  • Must be flexible and support weekend work when necessary.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ability to interpret wire lists, perform continuity checks, wire splicing, wire prepping using thermal tweezers, spot tying, and other wire routing and dressing tasks.
  • Experience using basic tools (torque wrenches, wire crimpers, etc.).
  • Knowledge or experience in aerospace.
  • Ability to follow directions and company procedures.
