Responsibilities

As a Patient Coordinator , you play a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring every patient has a smooth and positive experience. Responsibilities include :

  • Patient Check-Out & Scheduling : Review provider recommendations, schedule follow-ups, and ensure treatment plans are clearly explained.
  • Treatment & Supplement Coordination : Schedule recommended diagnostic tests, review supplement plans, and provide printed copies for patients.
  • Medications & Prescriptions : Call in prescriptions accurately, assist with prior authorizations, and coordinate weight loss medication orders such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.
  • Insurance Verification & Payments : Submit insurance verification requests, communicate coverage outcomes, and discuss payment or cash options as needed.
  • Office Communication : Collaborate with fellow Patient Coordinators, providers, and medical assistants to maintain smooth office flow and consistent communication.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (required)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and scheduling systems (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and general computer use
  • Dependable, professional, and able to multitask in a busy environment

  • Monday : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM
  • Tuesday : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM
  • Wednesday : 11 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
  • Thursday : Closed
  • Friday : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • One Saturday per month : 8 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM
