Utica, New York Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a long-term locum opportunity in Upstate New York . This high-volume Level III Trauma Center provides a fast-paced, collaborative environment ideal for experienced ER physicians ready to make an immediate impact.

  • Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Start Date :  ASAP
  • Duration : Long-term (6+ months)

  • 8a–8p

  • Average Monthly Shifts Available : 12
  • Shift Type : Night shift priority with additional day / evening openings
  • Coverage Model : MDs and APPs
  • Annual ED Volume : 70,000+
  • ED Beds : 62
  • Patient Volume : ~2.2 patients per hour
  • Hospital Size : 423 beds
  • Trauma Level : III
  • EMR : Epic
  • Supervision : APPs and Residents
  • Code Response : EM Team

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Status : ABEM or AOBEM required
  • Licensure : Active New York medical license required

    • Certifications :

  • PALS (required)
  • ACLS & ATLS required if not yet Board Certified
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years Emergency Medicine experience
  • Privileges : Full credentialing only (no temporary privileges)
  • File Status : Must be completely clean – malpractice and background reviewed
