Crane Technician Specialist / Industrial Maintenance Specialist
Pay : $25–$37 per hour (based on experience, skills, and shift)
Shifts : All shifts available
Position Overview
Join a growing industrial maintenance team as a Crane Technician Specialist. We’re seeking skilled, hands-on professionals who enjoy tackling mechanical and electrical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
The Crane Specialist will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility cranes and hoisting systems, along with other industrial equipment. This includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and detailed documentation according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. While certifications are a plus, hands-on experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment is key.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and related equipmentConduct routine crane inspections per OSHA and manufacturer guidelinesTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic toolsCollaborate with the maintenance team to identify and resolve system issues efficientlyMaintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairsFollow all company and industry safety procedures and regulationsSupport broader maintenance functions as needed across mechanical and electrical systemsWork weekends, overtime, or variable shifts as requiredPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience with overhead cranes and hoisting systemsMechanical and electrical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing environmentsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and crane safety standardsStrong troubleshooting skills and attention to detailCrane inspector certification (preferred but not required)Desired Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a similar roleEducation :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredIndustrial Maintenance Technician certification or training preferredSkills :
Mechanical and electrical repair skillsAbility to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment problemsKnowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actionsStrong commitment to safety policies and proceduresWillingness to participate in training and professional developmentCharacteristics :

Valid state driver’s license, insurance, and dependable transportationMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent residentJob-Specific Skills
Leadership experience within an industrial maintenance team (3+ years preferred)Technical understanding of heat treat operations and related systemsFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards, particularly for heat treat operationsKnowledge of budgeting, performance tracking, and preventive maintenance planningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Demands & Working Conditions
Work performed primarily in a factory environmentRequires walking, climbing, bending, and maneuvering around machineryMust be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs as neededRequires close and color vision for equipment inspectionsOperate tools and machinery safely as part of daily workEqual Opportunity
