The Forensic and Litigation Associates work as a member of the Client Services group and can expect a diverse experience ranging from accounting procedures for litigation engagements to the performance of business appraisal and valuation services. This position performs many duties of an advance level forensic accountant including working directly for corporate clients, under the supervision of upper level management.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Performance of preliminary valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, including development of comparative adjusted financial statements and data input for expert witness exhibits
• Litigation Seniors contribute to activities at the senior level including interfacing with associates for project management, time management, and general supervision and guidance
• Knowledgeable of the relevant statutory and family codes and their applicability to accounting principles in performance of forensic accounting
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the digital assets ecosystem, including but not limited to :

o Regulatory guidance and IRS provisions related to cryptocurrency and blockchain-based assets

o Trends in economic adoption and integration of digital assets in the U.S. and global markets

o Accounting, tax, and legal considerations relevant to the treatment of digital assets in litigation and financial disputes

o Apply current developments to forensic analyses, valuation, and investigative work in high-net-worth divorce and civil litigation matters

Minimum Qualifications Required

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000 - $95,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
