Identify key areas of growth, and develop new business with media agencies, partners, sales reps, and direct clients. Maintain and grow key accounts and industry verticals. Support local ad sales / monetization partners in driving and maximizing advertising sales revenue. Day-to-day management of local ad sales / monetization partners, in areas such as sales training, business updates, and end-to-end pre-sales and post-sales support. Monitor in-market advertising trends and collate competitive intel to identify best practices, drive innovation, shape go-to-market strategy, and optimize ad sales potential for the business. Support the Country Manager in analysis, reporting, and sales forecasting activities. Work closely with the regional advertising sales team and communicate local market needs, support, and deliverables needed. Achieve individual sales targets and support the regional advertising sales team in delivering the overall advertising sales target. Coordinate with various teams (account management, financial, sales, support, etc) through whatever medium that is available (Skype, Slack, email, phone, etc) Sales Strategy Development (Hard Skills) Business Development (Hard Skills) Account Management (Soft Skills) Market Trend Analysis (Hard Skills) Team Coordination (Soft Skills) Target Achievement (Soft Skills) Plan, manage, and execute long-term strategies for driving digital ad sales with brands and agencies Consult global brands and their media agencies on media planning, budget allocation, and optimization of each marketing channel. Use data / reports to make presentations and recommendations to clients. Forge relationships with key decision-makers within the brands and advocate ShopBack’s advertising offerings Understanding how to input advertising rates, key performance indexes, and any other sales-related functions Ensure the implementation of best practice guidelines and follow company processes Ensure timely and detailed analytical reporting of the key campaign outcome Coordinate with cross-function teams to execute projects such as onsite, graphics, performance marketing, and category teams. Provide detailed and enthusiastic pre- and post-sale customer support, gather all information needed to coordinate with account managers to launch a successful campaign Work with a team of sales and account managers to consistently achieve and exceed both revenue and account acquisition goals, as well as to identify emerging trends in the marketplace Digital Ad Sales Strategy (Hard Skills) Media Planning (Hard Skills) Data Analysis and Reporting (Hard Skills) Relationship Building (Soft Skills) Sales Process Management (Hard Skills) Campaign Performance Reporting (Hard Skills) Cross-Functional Collaboration (Soft Skills) Customer Support (Soft Skills) Responsible for hiring, staff development, and evaluating advertising staff members. Mentor each representative by providing the training and support to ensure success. Develop ongoing training and motivational programs for the advertising sales team. Conduct performance reviews and implement management processes. Responsible for completing administrative duties for employees such as approving time cards, responding to PTO requests, answering employee inquiries, and addressing employee issues / concerns. Seek out opportunities for strategic partnerships, promotions, marketing techniques, and tactics to increase sales. Work in conjunction with marketing teams to deploy communications and marketing plans to attract and create value propositions for current and new products. Provide feedback in all areas of BBB work to improve processes and create efficiencies Meet monthly sales goals for the department, the individual advertising sales reps, and yourself. Assist reps with production, ensuring individual and departmental success. Comply with all BBB standards and policies associated with product sales processes, scripts, and administration. Provide high-quality service at all times with current and potential Accredited Businesses (ABs), thereby developing long-term effective and professional relationships. Provide consistent on-the-job training and coaching. Staff Management (Soft Skills) Training and Development (Soft Skills) Performance Review (Hard Skills) Administrative Support (Hard Skills) Strategic Partnerships (Soft Skills) Customer Service (Soft Skills) Own and build relationships for luxury categories with key brands by positioning the client's brand solutions suite in print, digital, and events Cross-functional work requiring close collaboration with multiple teams internally to develop proposals for brands in print media, digital, and events Maintain and create a strong working relationship with clients and agencies Strategize with agencies and clients for branded content, white-label content ideas, and concepts Create and present brand solution proposals and strategy Forecast and track revenue objectives through proper account management Manage accounts to achieve individual goals as well as a team goal Effectively search prospective clients and convert sales leads Manage end-to-end client relationships including pitching, negotiation, contracting Stay abreast of current conditions and trends among brands and the industry (biz focus, new product launches, etc.) and adjust priorities accordingly Working closely with product, marketing, and operation teams to define new solutions Work with ad agencies, internal team, and direct customers to run successful, measurable campaigns Aggressively develop and manage a pipeline of prospects to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Relationship Building (Soft Skills) Cross-Functional Collaboration (Soft Skills)
