Job Description

Maintains clean, sanitary and orderly condition of the assigned exterior / interior areas of the Hospital. Moves, loads, unloads and transports items to assigned unit or building.

Job Responsibility

• Maintains assigned areas of Hospital in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition by :
• Sweeping and mopping areas; waxes and buffs floors, as needed.
• Gathering and disposing of refuse.
• Mopping bathroom and laboratories.
• Cleaning dust and dirt from ceilings, doorframes, wall vents and other high areas.
• Washing all interior walls, as required.
• Moves items, such as beds, desks, chairs, file cabinets, machines, etc.
• Strips and refinishes floors using floor maintenance equipment.
• Loads and unloads vehicles and transports via truck to assigned unit or building, as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
