Job Title : Special Education Teacher

We are currently interviewing and hiring for a licensed Special Education Teacher in North Chicago, IL.

Job Details :

• Fulltime / Monday - Friday
• August 18, 2025 May 29, 2026
• 37.5 hours a week
• Elementary 4th / 5th grade
• Resource Room that contains moderate to severe disabilities or Alternative Self-Contained for intensive academic instructional and communication needs.
• 8-10 Students with varying degrees of Autism
• Create and maintain a structured learning environment for students
• Plan and provide instruction for students that is developmentally appropriate and aligned with the Common Core State Standards and principles of the TEACCH method
• Collaborate with related service providers and teaching assistants to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collect and analyze data to measure progress on student IEP goals and academic growth, and progress
• ONSITE ONLY
