Place of Employment :

Client's home, work outside of the client's home and other work sites as required LoveBird HQ management.

Accountable to LoveBird HQ's Director, Administrator, Manager.

A Day in the Life as a Certified Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities :

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
• Help patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities.
• Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans for caregivers, nurses and doctors.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times

What Are We Looking For?

The Certified Nurse Assistant will lead the quality operations of our Home Care and Skilled Care Agency. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or move patients, or change linens. May transfer or transport patients. Include nursing aides and attendants.

Experience :

Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.

Interpersonal Skills : Excellent people, time management, confidentiality and Courtesy skills are a key asset for this position.

How is the Work Schedule?

This position may require various shifts at various times (including nights, weekends, and sleep-over) at one or more work sites.
