Freelance French Technical Writer

A company is looking for a Freelance (French Language) Technical Proposal Writer or Translator.

Key Responsibilities

Translate provided English material to Canadian French and vice versa

Edit and proofread the proposal to ensure grammatical accuracy and appropriate business tone

Collaborate with the non-French speaking project team to articulate complex technical information

Required Qualifications

Native-level proficiency in Canadian French, with mastery of grammar and business terminology

Proven experience in writing complex technical proposals for government clients

Prior knowledge of energy / utility projects or public infrastructure documentation is highly preferred

Fluency in English for effective collaboration with the internal team

Immediate availability to start the project
