Locum Tenens Opportunity : General Medicine Physician Near Mc Quady, KY

We are seeking experienced General Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens position near Mc Quady, KY. This role is on a PRN (as-needed) basis, starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis.       Key Responsibilities :

      C&P Exams

      Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.

    • Perform evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
    • No prescribing or treatment is required, allowing you to focus solely on conducting thorough and accurate assessments.
    • Specialization Requirements

      Open to physicians with backgrounds in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or general medicine.

    • Familiarity with musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues is essential.
    • Proficiency in METs testing, as well as the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, is required.
    • Coverage Options :

    • Flexible Work Environment
    • Two options for coverage are available : Travel to perform exams at a designated facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice.

    • Flexibility to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on your availability and preferences.
    • Support & Training :

    • Training Provided
    • Comprehensive training will be provided for all Reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

    • Documentation
    • Reporting / DBQs must be completed and submitted within 48 hours of exam completion.

    • No narrative report required; the final deliverable is the completion of standardized forms.
    • Ongoing administrative tasks, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings, will be required.
    • Equipment & Technology :

    • Laptop Requirement
    • Providers must use their own personal laptop (NO MACs).

    • Quick Credentialing
    • Expedited credentialing and onboarding are available to ensure a swift start.

      Qualifications :

    • Certifications
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible.

    • State License
    • Must hold an active medical license in Kentucky.
