Position
Senior Bridge Engineer – highway bridges and their structure and design. Join our nationally ranked team of professionals in Ann Arbor or East Lansing, MI.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and deliver projects that include bridge design, bridge rehabilitation, bridge inspection and structures design on DOT and local agency projects. May include responsibility for the delivery and coordination of several projects concurrently.
- Work with other managers to coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project development to complete the project on schedule.
- Establish client relations and participate with marketing, contractual, and production activities to establish and strengthen future and existing business lines.
- Collaborate with the Business / Accounting Manager, Project Controller, Company Controller and Area Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews.
- This position may be assigned to serve on larger bridge projects nationally and may include mega alternate delivery projects.

Serve in a lead technical role on bridge design projectsPerform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projectsWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable) box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projectsServe as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, and supervise more junior engineers in the performance of engineering tasksPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications
