Senior Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Ruby).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services in Ruby on Rails, with some work in Kotlin

Lead development of authentication, payments, and moderation features

Design schemas and queries for relational databases and contribute to technical direction

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering

Strong background in Ruby on Rails and willingness to learn Kotlin

Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security

Experience with high-reliability systems, particularly in payments

Familiarity with relational database design and SQL optimization
