Alerion Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

    Position Overview

    \nType of Position : Travel

    \nDescription : \n

    Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) - Cardiac Cath / EP Lab\n\nPosition Overview\n \n

  • Full-time Cardiovascular Technologist positions available\n
  • Also known as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), certified technicians who assist with invasive cardiac procedures\n
  • 10-hour shifts\n
  • Primarily days with late requirements and on call requirements\n

    • \n\nKey Responsibilities\n \n

  • Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment\n
  • Anticipate equipment required during procedures\n
  • Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments\n
  • Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter / monitor\n
  • Utilize good organizational skills\n

    • \n\nRequired Experience & Procedures\n \n

  • Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever\n
  • Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required : ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo\n
  • Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty\n
  • Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required\n

    • \n\nEducation & Certification Requirements\n \n

  • Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824\n
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT)\n

    • \n\nMust Haves\n \n

  • 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience\n
  • RCIS\n
  • BLS\n
  • ACLS\n
  • COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series\n
