About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

License : Active RN License in the State of Wisconsin

Certifications : CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) provided onsite

Must-Have :

• Experience in psychiatric and acute care nursing
• Ability to fill block shifts; no alterations permitted

Description :

We are seeking experienced psychiatric nurses to join our acute behavioral health facility.

The facility offers comprehensive care across five specialized units with a total of 72 beds.

Our patient population includes both voluntary and involuntary individuals, ranging from children to geriatric adults.

The schedule operates on a block schedule with every other weekend required.

Shift options include straight 36 hours or a 36 / 48 hour rotation.

Shift times begin at 6 : 00 or 6 : 30 PM.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 12, consistent across day and night shifts.

Support staff includes nurses, Behavioral Health Associates (BHAs), and House Supervisors, who are always onsite.

While there may be floating expectations, nurses will only float between units within the facility.

Physical restraints are the only type utilized in this environment.

Dress code requires solid-colored scrubs in maroon, grey, navy blue, or black.

Visitor policy is limited to specific evening hours.
