Salary : $170,000 - $240,000 per year. Base pay range : $170,000.00 / yr - $240,000.00 / yr. Actual salary offered will depend on experience and qualifications.

This role is with a client law firm with a long-standing international reputation in litigation and advisory work, seeking an experienced litigator for the Century City or Los Angeles office. Alternate locations and fully-remote work may be considered for otherwise qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day litigation and arbitration matters, including reviewing daily litigation correspondence and pleadings and reporting time-sensitive issues to the Partner in charge.
• Manage the litigation calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Document review; supervise local counsel; draft pleadings and motions; prepare and respond to discovery.
• Communicate with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements; prepare client settlement recommendations and draft settlement agreements.
• Appear in court and attend arbitration merits hearings as required.
