Salary : $170,000 - $240,000 per year. Base pay range : $170,000.00 / yr - $240,000.00 / yr. Actual salary offered will depend on experience and qualifications.

This role is with a client law firm with a long-standing international reputation in litigation and advisory work, seeking an experienced litigator for the Century City or Los Angeles office. Alternate locations and fully-remote work may be considered for otherwise qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day litigation and arbitration matters, including reviewing daily litigation correspondence and pleadings and reporting time-sensitive issues to the Partner in charge.
- Manage the litigation calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Document review; supervise local counsel; draft pleadings and motions; prepare and respond to discovery.
- Communicate with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements; prepare client settlement recommendations and draft settlement agreements.
- Appear in court and attend arbitration merits hearings as required.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active and in good standing with the local State bar (membership in the Florida State Bar is a plus).Minimum 5+ years of experience as a litigator.Strong academic credentials, excellent written and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Experience handling arbitration matters in JAMS or AAA; defending financial institutions and other commercial clients against claims under consumer protection, banking, and / or privacy laws; experience in bankruptcy court (including adversary proceedings) is preferred.Ability to manage relationships with opposing counsel and work under supervision of Partners in the Consumer Litigation practice group.Benefits
