Job Title

Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers | Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering | Develops specifications for new contract orders

Essential Functions

Provides support by planning and tracking material needed for production schedules.

Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture products.

Works to resolve and takes corrective action for materials issues impacting production schedules while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.

Analyze, plan, schedule, and initiate procurement actions.

Ensures materials are cost effective.

Assists in determining and ensuring the quality of materials.

Execute material that required outside processing.

Required Qualifications

Required education and experience : Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & / or Experience

Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred education and experience : Bachelor's Degree

Discipline / Major : Business Administration / Supply Chain Management

Knowledge, skills & abilities : Oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Problem-solving skills. Computer skills. Planning skills. Leadership skills.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and / or computer for extended periods of time.

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential.

Travel Requirements

No or very little travel likely.
