About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Superintendent to oversee commercial, healthcare & light industrial construction in Georgia. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving projects to successful completion on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing renovations and ground up commercial construction projects up to $20M+ and enjoys working closely with trade partners, clients, and project managers to deliver excellent results.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for projects
Ensure work is performed safely, meets quality standards, and complies with project specifications and local building codes.
Manage project schedules, sequencing of work, and daily activities to ensure milestones are met.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and proactively identify potential issues or risks.
Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and project documentation.

Qualifications

35+ years of experience in a superintendent or field supervisory role, preferably with projects $1M-$20M+

Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and safety standards.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with project management software, digital plans, and reporting tools preferred.

OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
