Sr. Genesys Developer

Title : Sr. Genesys Developer Location : Lansing, MI (Hybrid) Note : This is a W2 contract role – 1099, C2C, and 3 rd party candidates will NOT be considered The Sr. Genesys Developer will manage various aspects of Genesys system architecture, including; Genesys Architecture Design scalable, high-availability, and secure Genesys environments Design component interactions, including Interaction Server, URS, Stat Server, Config Server, and Message Server Manage environment sizing, network design, and failover strategies Genesys Framework Management Administer core Genesys components : Config Server, Stat Server, Message Server, and T-Server Utilize Configuration Manager (CME) and Genesys Administrator Extension Manage applications, agents, tenants, and system-level objects Genesys Intelligent Workload Distribution (IWD) Configure IWD positions, workbins, and workload types Manage end-to-end routing design for IWD Work, Email, File Server Capture, and API-based interactions Manage SLA-based prioritization, segmentation, and distribution logic IWD Rules Engine Design and implement routing rules using the IWD Rules Engine Develop dynamic rules for prioritization, eligibility, assignment, and escalation Provide policy management and version control of rules Routing & Workflow Design Develop routing strategies using Genesys Composer or Architect Handle Multi-channel workflow design (email, file capture, and work items) Experience with skills-based routing, business rules, and conditional flows File Server Capture Interface Configure file monitoring for ingestion of documents into work queues Automate document classification and routing to appropriate agents or queues Email Integration / Microsoft Graph API Integrate mailboxes via Microsoft Graph API for email ingestion Manage OAuth2 authentication, email parsing, and conversion to work items Route logic for inbound email based on headers, subject, or content rules Genesys Pulse (Real-Time Reporting) Configure and customize Pulse dashboards and real-time KPIs Monitor queue, agent, and system-level metrics Provide Stat Server configuration and tuning for real-time performance Genesys InfoMart & SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Design historical reports using Genesys InfoMart data structures Report creation, scheduling, and analysis using SAP BO Provide data analysis for performance, SLA adherence, and capacity planning Oracle Database Maintain astrong understanding of Oracle DB Tables and schema design Write complex SQL queries for reporting, data extraction, and troubleshooting Integrate Oracle databases with Genesys reporting and routing workflows Monitoring & Troubleshooting Use Genesys logs, Pulse, ICON, and historical data for root cause analysis Provide system health monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning Position Qualifications : 3-5+ years of overall Genesys administration / IWD support experience 3-5+ years of experience with Java, building / maintaining routing strategies, APIs, and integration components in Genesys environments 3-5+ years of experience with JavaScript for web services, APIs, and Genesys Workspace customizations 3-5+ years of experience with Oracle Databases, including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and analyzing configuration / reporting data from Genesys DBs A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or other related field required Note : This is a W2 contract role – 1099, C2C, and 3 rd party candidates will NOT be considered
