The Opportunity
This PM position works out of our Des Plaines, IL location in the Abbott Molecular Division. Our molecular division delivers best-in-class innovative testing solutions for people around the world to provide answers to life’s critical health decisions. We help people live full and healthy lives through our accessible, molecular-based solutions.
The PM for Oligo COE will be responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish. This will include purchasing the new manufacturing and testing equipment, overseeing shipment and arrival of all equipment, qualification and validation, any procedural updates, etc. In addition to the Oligo COE project if there is capacity, the PM will support other on market projects that could include capacity expansions, supply continuity, GMI, product improvements, market expansions, etc.
What You’ll Work On
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Discipline appropriate to the project
Minimum 3 years' experience in project management.
Recognized technical skills and judgment appropriate to the project discipline.
Basic working knowledge of project management tools and processes
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 2 years' experience of purchasing the new manufacturing and testing equipment, overseeing shipment and arrival of all equipment, qualification and validation, any procedural updates, etc.
At least 2 years' experience PM Work in a similar environment.
Prior Abbott Experience in a similar role is ideal or a similar work environment.

The base pay for this position is $85,300.00 – $170,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
