Project Executive – Commercial HVAC

Encore Mechanical, LLC is a leader in commercial HVAC contracting across Texas, specializing in advanced Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems , mechanical construction, and high-performance building solutions. This position is ideal for a senior HVAC project management professional with a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence in commercial construction .

Key Responsibilities

Lead HVAC Project Portfolios : Oversee multiple commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction through closeout , ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance goals are achieved.
Strategic Leadership : Partner with executive management to shape company strategy, expand market share, and drive organizational growth.
Client Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure project success and repeat business.
Operational Excellence : Develop and improve processes, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) , and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all mechanical construction projects.
Team Development : Mentor and train Project Managers , Superintendents , and Field Leaders to strengthen leadership across the organization.
Risk and Financial Oversight : Manage budget forecasting , contract negotiations, change orders , and cost control with confidence and accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven success in commercial HVAC project management , with experience leading multi-phase, large-scale projects.

Expertise in VRF systems , chillers , boilers , and other energy-efficient HVAC technologies .

Strong understanding of mechanical construction , contracts, scheduling, and project logistics.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the executive level.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams while maintaining client satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management , Mechanical Engineering , or a related field preferred.

Forward-thinking mindset and a passion for building strong, scalable operations.
