AMA Medical Group is currently hiring for a part-time or full-time LPN Outpatient Clinic to take vital signs, evaluate patient needs in person and on the phone, administer prescribed medications, and assist the physician with examinations and treatments in the Dunedin, FL area. This nursing position earns a competitive wage with a sign-on bonus of $500 .

DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time nursing position enjoys a rewarding work-life-balanced schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm or 7 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm . We offer part-time hours as well.

As a nurse in our outpatient clinic, you support the physician while putting patients at ease. You evaluate symptoms, either in person or on the phone, and perform triage according to your findings. You take vitals, enter data, and perform other nursing duties, all while delivering compassionate and efficient care.

Your excellent communication skills paired with your people and technical skills help you excel. You recognize each person as an individual and treat them with dignity. Your warm, caring demeanor is comforting to patients and helps them feel at home. You feel great about bringing a sense of hope and healing to our patients while enjoying the camaraderie of being part of a great team ! You utilize managed care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology, and extended service providers, including specialists, hospitals, skilled nursing providers, and other ancillary services. You also complete timely and comprehensive medical documentation in EMR systems to abstract for hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding and company standards.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN LPN OUTPATIENT CLINIC

Knowledge of eClinicalWorks would be a plus. The ability to speak Spanish and knowledge about medical equipment and maintenance would also be highly desirable.
