Description :

This position is located in a facility with 437 beds and a staff of 60.

The unit comprises a close-knit team, including a director, permanent staff, and part-time help.

On day shifts, the team consists of a director, manager, supervisor, and 8-10 RRTs.

The night shift is managed by a supervisor and 8-10 RRTs.

Patient ratios are approximately 44-46 procedures per shift.

Equipment used includes Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton, V60, Astral CPAP, BIPAP machines, ABGs, and CPT EMR Meditech.

Candidates with trauma experience and previous Meditech experience are preferred.

The respiratory therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.

Ideal candidates are team players, critical thinkers, and focused on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

An active disciplinary approach and collaborative relationships with physicians are essential.

Dress code includes light grey attire for RRTs.

The facility is accredited and recognized for excellence in care.
