Job Responsibilities
Underwrite and evaluate potential multifamily investment opportunitiesReview and update existing financial models relating to investment opportunitiesPerform financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and property valuationsTrack and maintain current investment portfolio statisticsResearch and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market dataConduct market surveys comparing rents, occupancies, and concession amounts among comparable properties in specific submarketsSupport the ongoing efforts of Hilltop’s Fund and Acquisitions teamsAssist in drafting and preparing Investment Committee memosProvide market-specific and asset-specific updates for investorsActively manage existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) PlatformAssist in the organization and preparation of fundraising materialsPrepare and maintain quarterly asset performance reports for existing Hilltop assetsSupport ad hoc reporting efforts, both internally and externallyRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, or related discipline from an accredited institution preferredInterest in commercial real estateStrong financial modeling skills with great attention to detailExcellent command of Microsoft Excel and Office products; database experience and / or additional programming skills a plusSelf-starter, dependable, with excellent organizational and analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to work with other team members, hunger to learn, positive “can-do” attitudeCreative problem-solving skills with ability to understand complex conceptsExcellent organizational, time management and strategic planning skillsStrong communication skills, both written and oralWillingness and ability to work with quick timelinesThis position reports directly to the Senior Managing Director and will office out of our Corporate Office located at 9651 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX.
