Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support early childhood education in a nurturing school environment located in south Texas. This part-time position spans from August 11, 2025, through May 21, 2026, and involves working closely with young learners to provide specialized instruction tailored to their visual impairment needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction to a student with visual impairment, including adaptations and assistive technologies as appropriate
• Collaborate with families and educational teams to develop prehensive support plans
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to adjust teaching strategies effectively
• Provide guidance and resources to support student integration and success in the classroom
