The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online AP Microeconomics tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning—all from home.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in AP Microeconomics and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

    • Compensation and Schedule

  • Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40 / hour for repeated sessions with the same student.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you'd like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
