Housekeeper – Part Time – For senior living apartment complex. Performs various housekeeping duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Represents the company in a professional manner and works as a team member along with the service staff to ensure the community meets the quality of standards set forth by TISHCO Properties LLC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Cleans occupied and vacant apartments to market-ready status
- Clean rugs, carpets and / or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and / or shampooers
- Clean appliances by using chemicals or solvents
- Disinfect and clean bathrooms
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and / or polish floors, using brooms or mops. Sweeps communal walkways and areas such as breezeways, laundry room, office and fitness center
- Maintains cleaning supply inventory
- Maintain open communications with Resident Manager and co-workers
- Delivers various communications to residents as needed
- May be required to drive motorized vehicle on and off property for company business
- Must be honest and ethical in reports to supervisors, other management personnel and in relationships with the residents.
- Must be respectful of residents and their personal belongings while in their apartments
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalentAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram format.Ability to use various equipment including cleaning and shampooing equipmentAdditional Requirements
Must have valid driver’s licenseMust have the ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, push, pull, reach overhead, climb, grasp effectively and lift up to 25 pounds - 50 pounds on occasionWear appropriate PPEOnly qualified applicants will be considered for interviews
