Base pay range

$65,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Overview

Construction Project Coordinator - Telecommunications / Growing Company. Our client is a telecommunications contractor focused on quality, swift installation, and skilled maintenance of diverse networks for residential, commercial, and special project services. The role involves overseeing fiber optic construction projects from initiation to completion in a permanent position that supports the company's growth in the fiber optics field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and managing all stages of fiber optic construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Working with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and work plans.
  • Tracking project performance and making adjustments to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Communicating project progress to stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients.
  • Identifying risks and issues, developing contingency plans, and managing changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for executives.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of project management experience, preferably in telecommunications or construction.
  • Experience with Outside Plant (OSP) and fiber optic technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
