Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? As a Radiology Technologist I , you will play a vital role in performing routine radiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. Your commitment to patient safety and quality care will shine through as you support a respectful and professional atmosphere among your colleagues and students from the School of Radiology.

Your Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment to perform procedures safely and effectively.
• Determine the appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient conditions.
• Gather patient history and document it for the radiologist’s review.
• Assist radiologists with routine fluoroscopic and invasive procedures.
• Operate portable radiographic equipment and C-arm in various settings.
• Initiate emergency medical support requests as needed.
• Document allergic reactions according to hospital policy.
• Transport patients and ensure optimal film quality and labeling.
• Maintain radiographic rooms and equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
• Provide guidance to students and maintain positive guest relations.
• Adhere to safety measures and regulations to protect patients and staff.
