About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required.

License : CST certification through NBSTSA required.

Certifications : BLS required.

Must-Have : First scrub experience is a plus.

Description :

The CVOR department is currently working under a team model.

Each team will consist of 1 RN and 2 CSTs.

There will be two teams once fully staffed.

Hours will be from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM every other week.

Scheduled workdays will be Friday and Monday every other week.

On-call duties will consist of after shift hours on scheduled Fridays and Sundays.

Team assignments will alternate weeks on the schedule.

Floating to the OR will be expected if there is low volume in the CVOR.

CSTs must have competencies documented and demonstrated for floating to other units.

Travel pairs and travel trios are welcome.

Candidates must have a radius of 30 miles or more from the facility to be considered.

Completion of modules is required pre-start, and time spent on modules is billable.

Annual competencies must be maintained, and staff should be qualified for the tasks they perform.

Travelers must float to other units as necessary due to census concerns.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified.
