European Modern Classic Collector Car Consignment Specialist

Position Purpose :

Barrett-Jackson, the leader in collector car auctions, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable European Modern Classic Collector Car Consignment Specialist for vehicles produced between 1970 and 2000. This role is perfect for automotive enthusiasts with deep expertise in European marques, an eye for detail, and a talent for building relationships within the collector car community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate, authenticate, and appraise European classic collector cars (model years 1970–2000) for auction consignment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, dealers, and consignors across Europe and the U.S.
• Provide expert guidance to Barrett-Jackson clients regarding provenance, originality, and market trends for European classics, including but not limited to Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, and Alfa Romeo.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling auction descriptions and promotional materials.
• Represent Barrett-Jackson at events, car shows, and auctions to promote consignments and network with potential clients.
• Conduct research on individual vehicles to verify history, restoration quality, and collectability.
• Assist in pre-auction inspection, documentation, and presentation of vehicles.
• Stay up to date on collector car values, trends, and legal requirements affecting European imports and exports.

Culture :

Team members are in the office five days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
