Solar Gaines is growing, and we are looking to add a service technician to our expanding team.

The solar service technician coordinates service requests, troubleshoots, and resolves issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and electrical components.
  • Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on schedule.
  • Ensure PPE, tools, and equipment assigned are maintained in good working condition or replaced as required.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience working with commercial and residential PV systems.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes as they relate to solar PV installations and inspection compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reading blueprints, plans, and manufacturer specs.
  • Effective time management and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working from elevated environments.
  • Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
  • Proficiency in using computers.

    • Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of PV installation and / or service experience OSHA 10 certification Valid driver’s license Job Type : Full-time Salary : $27.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits : 401(k) Health Insurance Dental / Vision insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Schedule : Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types : Bonus pay License / Certification : Journeyman Electrician license (Preferred)   Powered by JazzHR
