Kitchen Tune-Up Position

Kitchen Tune-Up is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking dedicated team members to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking career-minded remodelers or construction professionals who are willing to learn new techniques and are looking for a stable, well-paying career. This position is an entry level position that will provide training along side a Senior Carpenter with opportunity for advancement. We are looking for individuals that are driven, reliable, and have some experience with hand tools and power tools. This position will work primarily in the Grand Rapids area, with some weeks requiring work in Lansing area as well.

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions given by Lead Installer.
  • Follow Trustpoints on every project and job site.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily.
  • Communicate with Lead Installer daily about progress.
  • Work quickly and efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility
  • Some warehouse responsibilities of checking in materials and prepping material for future jobs

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Able to drill for hinges.
  • Able to install doors and drawer fronts.
  • Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets.
  • Ability to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, power hand saw, power drill, and powered nail gun.
