Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Unarmed in Modesto, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support emergency response efforts.
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
