About the Role :

As part of the supplier engineering function, the Project Manager serves as the central facilitator between Global Sourcing (GS) and project teams to drive supply chain development. This individual contributor role leverages engineering expertise and project management tools to drive technical project management, while collaborating with cross-functional engineering groupssuch as Research and Development, Process Development, and Supplier Engineering to mitigate risks, develop supply base and ensure component production readiness for new and next generation products.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

Supporting the New Product Development Program

• Patient treatment, product use, and overall business case
• Key design / process features and performance requirements
• Supplier landscape, key components, and overall risks / opportunities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key component risks, create material action plans, and drive mitigation actions

Leveraging data-driven insights to influence design, process, and supplier engineering to achieve best supplier quality, service, and cost

Infusing Global Sourcing strategies into NPD project decisions

Partnering with the Supplier Engineering team to drive component development and qualification activities

Implementing strategies to mitigate roadblocks that could impact project success; communicate project status with key stakeholders and leadership

Identifying resource allocation needs and changes in project requirements

Partnering with direct purchasing and project teams to support material procurement; roll up material COGS and drive cost reduction efforts

Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiency for the Material Program Management team and support the product life cycle process

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
