  • Direct access to your earnings daily!\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe MDS Nurse plays a crucial role in the planning and evaluation of care activities for our residents. You will lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and ensure that care plans are current and effective. You will work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance each resident's quality of life.\n\nWhenever on the floor, the Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized care. You will coordinate care, perform assessments, educate residents, and take part in various nursing interventions.\n\nAs a charge nurse, you will delegate tasks and provide guidance to both licensed and unlicensed personnel, always emphasizing the importance of safe and reliable care.\n\nYou will function within the frameworks of the Nurse Practice Act and associated regulations, maintaining professional standards of nursing care and ethical conduct.\n\nQualifications\n
  • Graduation from an NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is preferred; Bachelor's Degree in nursing is a plus.\n
  • At least one year of experience as a licensed nurse with seniors is preferred. Additional qualifications may be required for specific services / positions.\n
  • Current unencumbered RN license is mandatory.\n
  • Certification(s) and continuous education units (CEUs) are required to maintain licensure.
