Description

The Humana Institute at the Tilman J Fertitta Family College of Medicine, University of Houston (UH) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on population health-related projects. Sample projects include :

• leveraging healthcare costs and utilization data to understand and address gaps in care;
• increasing adoption and sustained use of telehealth, remote monitoring and other digital technologies;
• mixed methods studies that triangulate the impact of the lived environment on physical and mental health outcomes, using qualitative interviews and geospatial information systems (GIS).

The fellow will have opportunities to collaborate with research partners, participate in field research activities, conduct data analysis, lead manuscripts and presentations, and develop grant proposals and research designs. The position is a one-year appointment based at the University of Houston College of Medicine and is renewable depending on performance and funding.
