Position : Electrical Controls Engineer

Location : Irving tx

Duration : Full time

Salary range : 100 to 130k

Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing industrial automation, product development, and manufacturing and application support. This position supports both electrical controls related R&D product development as well as operations / production needs.

Description of Essential Job Functions :

R&D Support

• Research and develop products using gateway process for new and continuous product development.
• Coordinate information between departments, including engineering, sales, purchasing, production, and technical support.
• Establish the baseline budget and schedule for the project.
• Analyze project problems and recommend corrective action that has the least impact to cost and schedule.
• Troubleshoot, support, maintain and design production electrical testing area.
• Design custom control circuits for special customer requirements.
• Maintain and document information related to product use, costs, and operational implementation for all phases of product design and rollout related to new and current product in electrical, operational, and cost capacity.
• Establish rollout plans and implement with operations team.
• Prepare and present presentations both for internal and external uses.
