Job Summary
This position serves the Department as a full-time comprehensive ophthalmologist. A comprehensive list of duties and expectations will be outlined in an MSP Physician contract upon appointment.

The UC Davis Eye Center strives to combine the very highest quality vision health care services with cutting edge ophthalmic science. Now nearing half a century of service, the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Science continues to provide the Northern California and Western Nevada regions with state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care. Moreover, we have become an international referral center for advanced specialty care. Our designation as an Eye Center speaks to our growing regional and national reputation as a resource for both patient care and for the advancement of medical science in ophthalmology.
Department Specific Job Scope
Specific duties will include :
Holding an agreed upon number of comprehensive clinics per week
Perform surgery as necessary within the appropriate scope of a comprehensive ophthalmologist
Perform incidental instruction as necessary to residents and fellows
Perform administrative duties as required pertaining to the needs and expectations of a UC Davis Health physician
