Heavy Equipment Operator ( Full-Time)

Position Description Job Summary : The Heavy Equipment Operator( Travel Required )is responsible for safely operating machinery such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders to support construction, demolition, and concrete removal projects.

This role involves equipment maintenance, material handling, and working closely with field crews to ensure job site efficiency and safety.Duties and Responsibilities : Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, skid steers, and related machinery.

Load dump trucks with broken concrete using appropriate equipment.

Break concrete using an excavator with hydraulic breaker attachments.

Operate machinery in support of building, bridge, and highway construction or demolition.

Inspect, fuel, and maintain equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.

Communicate clearly with dispatch and job site supervisors regarding tasks and updates.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as needed.

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.

Assist team members and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements Required Skills and Abilities : Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, capabilities, and safety practices.

Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Strong communication skills.

Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.

CDL license required.

Physical and Additional Requirements : Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

Must be able to work extended shifts, including nights and weekends, when required.

Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrain types.
